Why are emails delayed?
The message took too long to be delivered: what is the problem, and where can I find the explanation?
Several causes can explain a late message delivery, which may or may not be related to the Vade Cloud™ processing.
If the delay is related to the message processing within the platform, or if the downstream server is responsible for the delay, the timestamps and temporary reject messages in the SMTP logs (4.x.x errors) that you can view on the platform will provide useful information to help diagnose the problem.
If the logs in Vade Cloud™ do not show any noticeable indication that the delay occurs on the platform, it probably means that sending servers are at fault.
If you notice in the logs that the delay problem is due to the Vade Cloud™, please contact your support representative.
