How to set inbound and outbound relays?

The Cloud platform will not be able to route messages properly until relays are declared for a given domain to protect.

The inbound relay can be set at the time you add a domain, through the domain configuration wizard.

You can modify the inbound or outbound relays at any time under Clients > Details > Domains > Details > Inbound > Relays.
Attention: The list of relays is common for all the domains of a given client. Modifying or deleting relays will take effect immediately on all the domains of the client account.

The inbound relay usually maps to the downstream messaging server of the client: It can either be a private server hosted on a public IP address, or a hosted-email service.

To add an inbound or outbound relay manually, type in the IP address or DNS name of the downstream server and click Add.
